Stalking On The Estate
Hunting and stalking have been part of the estate’s heritage since the dissolution of the monasteries. The parkland and surrounding areas were once a royal hunting ground held by the Knights Templars, later passing to their rivals, the Knights Hospitallers, before being acquired by our family in 1547.
The East Beat
Covering more than 1,000 acres, the East Beat stretches out from Kentchurch Court and rises along the west side of Garway Hill, offering sweeping views across the Black Mountains. This picturesque upland terrain features a blend of arable fields, pasture, and ancient woodland.
Although roe and muntjac are present, fallow deer are the estate’s primary species. They are typically stalked on foot, with time also spent in static positions or high seats.

Our aim is simple: to provide authentic moments in nature through safe, ethical, and sustainable stalking.
Our team brings decades of combined experience in stalking and deer management. We follow the BASC Deer Stalking Code of Practice, and our team are fully insured and affiliated with BASC.
Each stalk is tailored to the client’s ability, from complete beginners to seasoned stalkers, offering a truly bespoke experience rooted in the British countryside. We ensure every outing is safe, informative, and exhilarating.

Ethical & Sustainable
We’re committed to responsible deer management. As wild deer populations continue to grow across the UK, professional stalking is essential for safeguarding habitats, woodlands, and farmland. We follow a strictly ethical approach, focusing on older or weaker animals to support healthier population dynamics.
