Visit Kentchurch Estate

Set amidst the scenic landscape of Herefordshire’s Golden Valley, Kentchurch Estate invites you to visit the gardens or take a guided tour of our Regency-style historic home.

Intimate and informal in feel, with beautiful vistas of our historic home, the gardens offer colour throughout the seasons.

Unfortunately our tearoom is closed for refurbishment but we hope to be open again by August 2026.

Take a personal guided tour with a family member or our historian. Available year round, it is a unique opportunity to explore the interiors of our family home and dive into our history.

Tours last around 1.5 hours and advance booking required. Minimum group size of 5+ people.

Park & Garden Tours

We’re opening the Deer Park for guided tours with some special guests. Join us to gain an insight into the parkland at Kentchurch and how it has developed over time.

A former royal hunting ground, originally belonging to the Knights Templar, it was  bought by the family back in 1547. Fallow deer graze here amongst the ancient trees, including yew, sweet chestnut and some of the largest field maples in the country, not forgetting the famous ‘Jack of Kent’s’ oak tree.
